Home Acoustics Alliance® The Acoustic Design and Calibration Review is the latest module designed for the AVPro Report Suite. Dubbed the Acoustic Performance Review it is an upgrade of the Acoustic Design Review or ADR module. It is composed of two separate checklists used by HAA Calibrators to analyze and correct home theater calibration issues. The ADR checklist was developed to give HAA Calibrators an efficient way to review the layout and design of a sound room acoustically. This new version of the package now includes the ACR or Acoustic Calibration Review checklist which was developed as the calibrators guide to calibrating a sound system. Two reports that can be combined or issued individually. Acoustic Performance Review Includes: - Acoustic Design

| What is the Acoustic Design Review Checklist? Designed as one of the pillars of HAA Acoustical Calibration and System Analysis, the ADR is a list of 35 specific design elements. Ranging from very basic items like centering the center channel speaker to more sophisticated elements like placing listeners in moderate modal zones, the ADR simplifies the complicated subject of acoustics for Home Theater. In the hands of a trained Calibrator, the ADR facilitates the creation of a valuable pool of advice for the serious Home Theater consumer. The final piece is the Performance Report Card detailing the final grade of the system in review. |

| Why a Report? The Analysis of a sound system begins with reviewing the design of the room and the layout of equipment and furnishings in the room. In many cases there are elements that are not correct and need to be changed. In the interest of esthetics some rooms interior design is hostile to good sound quality. Absent a credible analysis, many consumers do not understand the compromises made on sound quality. The ADR provides not only a checklist based guideline for proper design but also a report card that emphasizes the impact on performance of errors. Recommendations hold more credibility and are more valuable to a consumer when the opinion is issued in the form of an HAA report. The added value of the report means that your consultations become sources of revenue; trading good advice for a fee. |
